In an attempt to redeem the conscience of the nation, 41 years after his demise, “Art Against Terrorism – BRAVE HEART,” was published by Gallery Cosmos to gather the artworks of 78 artists who intended to pay an aesthetic tribute to the man who dreamt of “Sonar Bangla.” The book contains several articles including those of Enayetullah Khan, Chairman of Gallery Cosmos
They include a rare interview he had taken of Sheikh Hasina back on August 16, 1987. She talked at great length about her father, Sheikh Mujib. Several other articles by eminent individuals pay homage to the great man, while great praise is also reserved for Colonel Jamil Uddin Ahmad (later posthumously promoted to Brigadier General in 2010,) Bangabandhu’s military secretary, who took a bullet for him in his line of duty. The eminent artists, whose works are included in the book includes Samarjit Roy Choudhury, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Kalidas Karmakar, Abdul Mannan, Biren Shome, Alakesh Ghosh, Shahabuddin Ahamed, Farida Zaman, Nasir Ali Mamun, Shishir Bhattacharjee, Kanak Chanpa Chakma and a plethora of others.
